Yukon quartz and placer claims map
Every active mineral claim in Yukon on one map, with its holder, its dates and what it owes. Track the ground you care about and get an email when anything changes.
How claims stay in good standing
Quartz and placer claims are renewed each year by filing representation work before their expiry date.
When lapsed ground reopens
A claim expires once its expiry date passes without renewal, after a 14-day grace period for filing work. For six months after expiry the former holder can still renew it with a late fee. No reopening notice is published.
